Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) can be used to treat joint and soft tissue pain and inflammation.
PRP contains concentrated platelets which release growth factors and promote tissue repair.
PRP is a safe treatment without many of the risks and side effects that other treatment options may have.
HOW IS THE TREATMENT CARRIED OUT?
A sample of your own blood is taken and concentrated in a centrifuge to create platelet-rich plasma (PRP). This concentrated portion (platelet-rich plasma) is injected into the treatment area to reduce inflammation and improve function.
AREAS SUITABLE FOR PRP TREATMENT:
✔️ Knee osteoarthritis
✔️ Tennis Elbow
